Great news we finally have our New Building. It has been 3 years of looking, putting in offers, being turned down and so many other road blocks. We persisted and never gave up on the dream. Now because of your generosity and the right timing, Yahweh has kept this building just for us and we are so excited and grateful.
This is an old Anglican church and we were the first people to look at it. This was a suddenly moment and we jumped on it and within 5 days the building was ours. The most amazing part of this is that we own the building outright (We have zero debt on the building)!!! Yahweh is so good!!!
Ian, Grant & Sam are so grateful and thankful for everyone that sowed into this dream, without you none of this would have been made possible. It is so awesome to finally have a facility where we can begin to see our vision unfold for New Zealand and the rest of the earth and beyond.
Now the real work begins. We have a lot that needs to be done on the building before we are operational. So once again we are asking you to partner with us to realize the vision. We want to launch by October of 2020 and use the building for Ian's annual New Zealand conference.
The current roof is damaged and has several leaks so we need to replace the roof. We need to get an Earthquake Rating Report done on the building and that alone costs $25 000 without the actual remediation work if required. We will remove all the pews and buy new chairs. The floor tiles need to be ripped up as they are water damaged and new carpets installed. We need to change all the light fittings and we want to paint the building on the outside and the inside. Currently the building only has 3 toilets so we need to install a new toilet block. Due to the leaks, some of the timber around the windows is rotten and that needs to be replaced.
We estimate that we will need roughly $150 000 to do everything that we need to on the building and we are asking you to partner with us by donating to these requirements. If you are able to help in any other way in terms of labour skills such as electrical, carpentry or general maintenance we would love to hear from you. when
